American Embassy Ghabka Celebration


American Embassy employees and family members celebrated Ramadan with their Kuwaiti and international colleagues and friends at the Burj Al-Hamam restaurant in Salmiya on October 2.  The event was hosted by the Chargé d’Affaires Alan Misenheimer.  More than 100 guests at the Kuwaiti-style ghabka included representatives from Kuwait’s political, economic, media, arts and other sectors.  The occasion was an opportunity to celebrate the holy month of Ramadan with Kuwaiti friends and to introduce new Embassy employees to the public.
