U.S. Embassy Closed for Eid Al Adha and Martin Luther King’s Birthday
The American Embassy will be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday, January 10-11, 2006 in observance of Eid Al-Adha. The Embassy will also be closed on Saturday, January 14, 2006 in observance of Martin Luther King’s Birthday in the United States. The Embassy will reopen for normal business on Sunday, January 15, 2006. Regular working hours are 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Saturday to Wednesday. Regular business hours at Consular Section are as follows:
American Citizen Services: Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday 9:00 a.m. -11:00 a.m. and Saturday-Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Non-Immigrant Visa Services: Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday 8:00 am - 10:00 a.m. by appointment only.
Immigrant Visas: Sunday, Monday and Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. by appointment only.
