Passport Renewal for Minors Age 16 and Above


Passport applicants from age 16 may start signing their own passport application. Therefore, In this case it is not mandatory for both parents to appear with the minor.

This service requires an appointment.Appointments are made online from Sunday to Thursday from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.  Make Appointment

The applicant is required to submit the following: 
  1. Passport application form DS-11  (all passport applications are available in the ACS waiting room); http://travel.state.gov/passport/forms/ds11/ds11_842.html
  2. Recent passport;
  3. 2 recent (taken within six months) photos size 2”x2” (5cm x 5cm) with a white background. Applicant should be facing the camera directly. No profile or ¾ shots. (The Embassy will reject any photographs that do not meet the specified requirements);
  4. Fees: 100 USD or 30 KD payable in cash or credit
  5. Please note that additional documents may be required depending upon the circumstances of your case.
