E-Teaching 

The Public Affairs Office at the U.S. Embassy in Kuwait will be accepting applications for the E-Teacher scholarship program until close of business on July 2, 2007. The E-Teacher scholarship program funds Kuwaiti teachers of English as a Foreign Language and teacher trainers to attend online courses on the latest in English teaching methodology conducted by select universities in the United States.

The selection process for this program is global and highly competitive. Applicants must be Kuwaiti, residing in Kuwait, possessing a good level of English language proficiency, able to access and comfortably use the Internet for the distance learning courses.

The courses offered for this academic year are: English for Business, English for Law, Teaching English to Young Learners, Teaching Critical Thinking, and Assessment for EFL.
